Thanks for the suggestions. The use of UNC appears to be the way I would want to do it. What happens when the shared folder on the other server is locked down with a username and password? Are there any switches I could use with the UNC path?
For example, I do a cfdirectory with the (supposedly) mapped drive like so: <cfdirectory action="LIST" directory="\\123.456.78.9\thisFolder" name="listThis"> Where do I specify username and password? But as I read Dave's email, I see that even this will not work since the SYSTEM account does not have network access anyway. That means switching the account that CF runs under to something more network-friendly. Is this right?
