Yeah - I run it on top of XP. Last night I installed SUSE 9.2 into a VM (at home) and here at work I've got SUSE 9.2 running as well as 2 Win 2K machines, all on top of XP.
You don't have to reboot you just run whatever machines your resources will allow. It depends on what you want. I need to preserve the integrity of my machine so I use VM Ware as its quite benign in terms of the main OS. ++++++++++ Kevin Parker Web Services Consultant WorkCover Corporation p: 08 8233 2548 m: 0418 806 166 e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] w: www.workcover.com ++++++++++ -----Original Message----- From: dave [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, 15 February 2005 1:00 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: ot: vmware ? how exactly does this vmware work? is it better than a dual boot? and can you switch between os's without rebooting? thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:194656 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
