Our application is running on a W2003 server in Switzerland and is storing and
displaying special characters (umlauts, accented characters etc) without any
problems (SQL Server 2000). However when these characters are used within the
text of a CFMAIL message the characters are misinterpreted when the email is
viewed in a Eudora mail client. Outlook displays the characters correctly. The
default Mail encoding in the CF Administrator (CFMX 6.1) is UTF-8.

What can we do to get these characters to interpret correctly when read in
other mail clients?

Any help greatly appreciated.
Julian McNamara
