One thing I neglected to mention which is relevant to this point is
that if the Admin logins (App B) are completely separate from user
logins in the original app (App A).  Different databases and
everything.   (Basically, the admin database is a "common" database --
the App A has different databases depending on which client you are
[this isn ASP[)

So, if they were the same application name, logging into App A would
still log you out of App B.  (For what it's worth, up until 2 months
ago, they did have the same application name [because of a bug in the
code], and this issue was still an issue.)
