I can't help but ask how much have you donated to these people who you think should be writing documentation.
Even if you believe that they are the ones who should be writing it, surely you don't believe that they should do it for free. Not forgetting that THEIR product is something you get for free and which has done an enormous amount to allow for the creation of sites that are completely compatible on multiple platforms. As someone who spends about 15 hours a week writing software that I give away for the benefit of everyone I really do have to shake my head and wonder if it's worth it when people come back with an attitude like this.
