Micha,

I had 2 points, which apparently you missed for the same reason I
missed any valid points in yours. Attitude. Apparently you don't like
mine, which is fair, since I generally don't like yours. While,
however I did mean to challenge both your content and demeanor, I did
so without disrespecting you... or at least without intending to. I
even agreed with a couple of your statements, so the level of snide
disrespect in your response is both unappreciated and unwarranted.

My 2 points were this:
#1 - Given the option between Breeze and Webex, which are indeed the
only 2 substantive options outside of Yahoo Instant Messenger and a
webcam *that I know of*, and from an end-users perspective, I would
choose Breeze.

#2 - You present yourself as a Macromedia-hating hypocrite, willing to
benefit from their work whily incessantly berating them on lists. :P
It's NOT my fault that while you're ripping on them day in and day
out, eventually, it starts to sound like a scratched record. Last
night my tolerance threshold was low, so I said what I was thinking.
Life Goes On.

Sure, Be My Guest. Oops, you already did that commentating. Never
mind. Did you get to the part where I said that Ben Forta's Breeze on
MX 7 did what you seemed to be saying wouldn't work? Did you further
get to the point that I asked for clarification because of the
contradictions between my experience and your statements?

Or come to the conclusion that I already said we had the same point
but came at it from different directions... an equally viable
conclusion. And read what I said about not using what you can't
support. Like I said, I was agreeing with your content and disagreeing
your presentation...

Very true... you're simply presenting your arguments in a very
negative and distracting way. Your content gets lost in the pedantism.

So THAT's why I use Eclipse. Since I think that only Macromedia can do
anything right, I'm just using Eclipse to play a trick on myself? I'm
confused, again... which happens easily enough. Apparently because I
disagreed with you, and made a specific point regarding your
perpetually negative attitude, that means I'm an MM addict, is that
your contention? Because I support, endorse, and enjoy their
products... is that why you've labeled me "Macromedia-blind"?

Think again. And do not presume to know what I think beyond what I say.

First of all, I'll go where I please... thank you. Second, how long
you've been using Flash is irrelevant. What is relevant is the fact
that I don't think I've seen you, once, present a positive perspective
on CF, Flash, Dreamweaver, or anything Macromedia's written. If it's
that bad, why not switch to .NET or Java, permanently? It seems as
though you really do dislike Macromedia products... forgive me for
supporting them, I happen to like 90% of what they've produced. I'd
probably like the other 10%, too, if I had opportunity to use it.

Now that's a bit harsh, because I never involved myself in the DHTML
discussion until now, I don't really care if I make a fool of myself
so long as I'm having a good time in the process, I don't really give
a monkey's tupee if you respect me or not, and I did not flame you. I
challenged you, your facts, and your presentational style. I even
agreed with you on some points... and where I disagreed, I had
something to say... and where I commented on the attitude with which
you present information, I said so without demeaning you.

In any case, have a most excellent weekend, and I'll catch you later!
