Traffic is not the key factor here. A combination of the used CF functionality in combination with the traffic probably is.
Sometimes bugs need a special approach to allow them being exposed. I bet I wouldn't trigger it either if I only ran simple queries and outputted them under load. I probably would, if I did some of the magic happening in some of the customer's code and put that under load also. That software contains bugs, doesn't immediately imply "it sucks", especially not when there are valid workarounds available until this issue gets resolved. I am wondering if Crystaltech could simulate the same issue on a spare server with CF7 installed. Have they tried that?
