Best reason, you can more easily search an eBook.  Harder to do so with
paper.  And, as for those ongoing questions, you charge a subscription fee
to cover that cost.  Go ahead and ask a question 5 years after the book came
out, as long as your subscription is current.

No sufficient reasons have been brought forward to not go the digital route.
