Ok...no we're getting to the real reasons behind continuing
in print...credibility and freedom.  I can appreciate that.
It's like garage bands vs. bands with a contract with a
music publishing house.

I knew there had to be other concerns and motives besides
"print is better"...in some ways I would agree, especially those
you mentioned above, but in most ways that involve time to customers,
ease and cost of distribution, wide availability, searchability...
I can't see how print can even compete...

Very good point. And that is the primary reason for me to write the CF books
specifically. They give me the credibility to do what I do, personally as
well as for Macromedia.

I dunno, I am not 100% on board on that e-book/pdf thing.  Personally, I
like having Ben's lineup of books all bound up nicely sitting right here on
my shelf.  The convenience is worth it, IMO.  I would think that print would
make Ben's exposure much more worth the effort in the CF community.
