Don't say the "I" word, please. Where's my antacid? It seems as if C'Tech is suffering from the usual story when it comes to ISP's. They get good, they get big, they get new priorities, they turn to mush. Very sad as they used to be stellar. I was told not too long ago by a Crystaltech 'tech' that the reason a CF5 SQL Server connection wasn't working 100% of the time was because Macromedia recommended against using ODBC and that dsn-less connections were the only reliable way to go. The real reason of course was that somewhere within their network they had something screwy (they required some odd stuff in a connection string) in place but was this guy going to admit that? The server is still live over there and recently I found ODBC works fine again. As Jared says, you get what you pay for I'm afraid, and until you can afford to run your own servers this is just part of the game. Seems to be a universal cycle that all shared hosts fall into, sooner or later. -- --mattRobertson-- Janitor, MSB Web Systems mysecretbase.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
