right. I just went through all that with HMS when they made the 1st linux box with cfmx 7 on it and let then use one of my sites to get it all right.

Many don't just because it's easier to disable the tags than construct proper security restrictions for their proper use in a shared environment. Of course in a shared environment there are tons of ways around those tags (access Java or ActiveX objects, batch files, telnet, etc) so taking the time to set up decent OS-level sandboxing is really the only way to do things right.
