I'd gathered that this was an order he had placed himself as he said he was hired by the company to set up their DSL in the first place... so ... the guy making the call and talking to the tech (if I read it correctly) knew what information had been given to them because he placed the order... That being the case, he knows he didn't provide a working email address when he made the order (which was likely made via phone -- when we've moved in the past and got DSL from the phone company, we've ordered it via phone). I have personally ordered internet service via a web-form (prior to the advent of DSL no less), though I'm not sure if that's the norm everywhere yet... s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://macromedia.breezecentral.com/p49777853/ http://www.sys-con.com/author/?id=4806 http://www.fusiontap.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:201717 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
