Anything IE can do to improve must be a good thing - I once wrote what I thought was very basic page manipulation through JS (testing in FF as I went) and it broke completely in IE6. I had to completely rewrite it to get it to work in both.
Now I tend to use InnerHTML to manipulate content, because it still renders faster than any other method in every browser that supports it (this doesn't help much with CSS of course). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
