I think a few people are missing the point of the shirts in the first place. It's being clouded up by feelings and such. Let me make just a few points.
-In the beginning I was looking for some nice ColdFusion shirts that SAY "ColdFusion" because I'm proud to be a cf developer. I'm proud of what I do. I'd like to spread the word about CF. And spreading the word literally means spreading the *WORD*. I couldn't find any. -The idea is NOT to spread wacky-looking graphics with CF embedded in them somewhere like some kind of cryptic message! -The idea is simple, the shirts are simple and designed to BE that way. Got ColdFusion? That's pretty darn easy to understand isn't it? They're supposed to invite dialogue about the product. Open up opportunities to discuss the product with others. Maybe a PHP, ASP, .NET guy will give CF a second look. So if you want a three ring circus with CF in the first ring, go for it! If you want a simple, easy to understand shirt that gets a message across, then I'd hope people will look at mine. As I've said, I've gotten great response from quite a few folks, so 2 or 3 negative ones from people with their own shirts will not stop me. In the end, the idea is to push the product further into the general development community. I'm passionate about CF and NOTHING is going to deter me from accomplishing my goal. Not even a few tiny, cheap comments.
