In Thunderbird: Tools -> Messge Filters -> New In Outlook: Tools -> Message Rules -> Mail Filtering for beginners requires the following rules: - To or CC: [email protected] - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The action is either 'Delete' (2 people currently in my filters) or 'Mark as Read' (7 people currently in my list). If you have room for a comments field, add a date and let them out after 6 months to see if you like their posts better. Advanced filtering precedes the previous rule with a quick or final no-op rule matching your own MessageIDs in the References header. That way, any message that is a direct response to a message you wrote is a no-op so you see those but not the verbal diarrhea some people dump on these lists.
