Technically, I suppose, there are two ways of dealing with optional
numeric arguments to web services:
1 - make it "Any" and pass in blank val and only deal with numeric vals.
2 - leave it as numeric and pass in a negative number, and deal with
it that way.
Realistically, an argument type of numeric has to be dealt with properly
anyway because you could, in theory, pass in a decimal number or a
negative number in cases when you want only non-negative integers.
