Just as an FYI, I finally was able to talk to a Symantec rep about
licensing. Per Symantec, even using their Symantec Web Security v3.0
AntiVirus solution, you need a license for *each* workstation that will
connect to the server. I tried to get clarification on what a "workstation"
was (and told him that it's pretty much impossible to know how many
computers may access your website via HTTP) and the rep's answer was if a
computer connects to the server, you need a license.

So, in a nutshell--according to Symantec--it's very nearly impossible to run
Symantec AntiVirus on the server and conform to their license.

Here's their license:

That said, their Symantec Corporate Small Business Edition, appears to have
a different license:

Which according to the license seems like it's per server/workstation:

"Count the total number of desktop/laptop computers to be protected by
Symantec AntiVirus. This is the total number of units required by your
customer. Each desktop, server and laptop count as one licensable unit."

Dealing w/Symantec was a very sucky experience.
