hi guys, i have proposed to my client ( <http://www.solocc.com> www.solocc.com) a referral initiative to build their database for marketing. it goes like this... 1. you enter my email address in the referral form 2. i receive a html email from solo asking me to join up to receive further emails (and show off jerseys etc) 3. my email plus your customerID are entered into a temp database table 4. if i decide to join the mailing list, a search is done on the temp table for my email address. 5. if there is a valid match, a unique voucherID is created and emailed to you. 6. you enter voucher number in special field upon purchase - once used this number is flagged and cannot be used again. can anyone see any probs with this (or ways it could work more efficiently)? any thoughts would be appreciated.
