Well... honestly your network admin should know this stuff. If you're talking MS DNS CrystalTech has a nice guide for their (amateur) dedicated server users here: http://www.webcontrolcenter.com/Knowledge_Base/frmKB.aspx?KBID=564 I was able to set up all my domains and DNS using it.
