Like so many other things, detailed use of fusedocs and the FLiP process are really about personal style. I happen to dislike them both, despite a couple honest attempts to utilize them. Won't stop me from recommending them though, since they've proven viable. > And, > to be honest, the whole "see the light" zealotry in the Fusebox > community back then was also a contributing factor in my early dislike > :) I'll agree with that. Though speaking from experience, Fusebox is a very viable framework that seems to get more than it's fair share of bashing. It's hard to not be overzealous promoting it, and I know I'm guity of the offence. > > I don't really see FB3 and FB4 as hugely different. > > I know... and a lot of the FB thought leaders emphasized how "similar" > FB3 and FB4 were in terms of concepts. However, the shift from a > code-based controller infrastructure to an XML-based controller > infrastructure is, in my opinion, a radical shift and that is why I > like FB4 and (still) don't like FB3. Fair enough. I had a suspicion this was at the crux of it. cheers, barneyb -- Barney Boisvert [EMAIL PROTECTED] 360.319.6145 http://www.barneyb.com/ Got Gmail?
