I'd guess that you should be rounding up. Even a 10th of a cent adds up
after time. Look what happened in Office Space.

Subject: Sales tax amount

Hi guys,

I'm about to release some new code to collect sales tax for Wisconsin
but before I do, I'd like to run something by you.

I just ran a test on an item that was $18 and taxable at 5.6%. That
means that the tax would be $1.008.

From your experiences, should I be rounding the tax up to $1.01 or just
setting it at $1.00?

I just want to ensure that I charge the correct amount of sales tax.

Thanks,

Rey...
