This is used by many viedo re-encoding packages out there....I use for AVI to MPG conversion...works great!! I would not want this to be an "on-the-fly" process while the user waits. AVI to MPG conversion takes as long to convert as it does to play the video....upt to twice as long or a bit more... .....so a user is not going and sit and wait all that time whilea video is converted.
