This is really weird... it seems to just have fixed itself.  I tried
importing the ssl certificate into the certstore, and that didn't seem to
fix it.  

Now, here's the thing.  We have a timeout attribute on the cfinvoke.  I had
it set to 60 (which in seconds sounds reasonable).  It kept failing.  I
changed it to 600, and it worked after a few seconds.  Then I changed it
back to 60, and now it works fine.  

Now, is there a bug in ColdFusion and/or java that misinterprets the timeout
attribute of the cfinvoke tag if it's generating the stubs?  

After CF generates the stubs, all seems good.  Let me know if that works for
you, Bryan.
