I'm saying that you don't have to pay a cent to deploy Flex apps. You can use the free command line tools to create the Flex UI, and then connect it to any platform you like (CF, PHP, JSP, some custom XML server, etc).
You can even get the enterprise sevices (though connection limited) for free, if you want those.
