It is very relevent to web developers in general...we sometimes lose site of the fact that each new technology and feature that we add in may close the door on some part of our audience. This isn't just an issue because of ADA or 508, but because accessibility issues are just part of doing good web development...many of the things you do to make a site "accessible" are the same things you do to make the site "search engine friendly"...and that new AJAX search function may block a whole group of customers from using part of your site.
