scab n 1: someone who works (or provides workers) during a strike [syn:
strikebreaker, blackleg, rat] 2: the crustlike surface of a healing skin
lesion v 1: form a scab; of wounds [syn: scab over, cicatrize] 2: take the
place of work of someone on strike [syn: rat, blackleg]

Obviously the name doesn't apply in this case. Replace it with "skilled
worker," and assume that the author is completely unskilled.

There are unions in different sectors of the IT industry, and there are more
loosely-knit organizations such as the HTML writers' guild, but as far as I
can tell if there were a CF union, most of the people around doing CF
wouldn't get paid squat. Why? Well, remember that skilled worker thing?...
