We have the full SQLServer2005 running in a shared environment with probably several hundred sites over the whole system, along with CFMX7.0.1.
There are no issues that I know of between coldfusion and SQLServer2005, although i certainly have great difficulty deploying databases without DTS. I have been asking everywhere i can find and no one has a solution. Cant use replication - permissions cant use 'database transfer task' which is predefined in SQL2005 - permissions cant use SSIS except in debug mode, one table at a time - a pain for 352 tables over all my databases. It was all handled automatically every night by my local server, and i always knew i had my own backups, and had local copies of production databases for a lot of purposes. now i have to take a full day every week to do only part of the job. If anyone else has solved this problem, I'm eager to hear how.
