Not sure if you're up to some java, but iText ships with CF, and it's a master of pdf stuff. Also, as for the security, you need to consider all the aspects, as the weakest link is what will get ya. Like, will the documents be stored in the browser cache? Does the end user know about best practices with sensitive data? They wouldn't turn around and email one of the "protected" docs to some other person, right? You can go nuts with encryption and whatnot (I love ciphers et al), but not really get what you're after, namely, the knowledge that the the wrong people won't get to the information. That whole "super tough password", but post-it noted to the monitor. Eh. security is fun. A lot of it is head stuff, vs. computer stuff, though. And I'm no expert. I just like math, and the ideas America had been founded on. Though why privacy is important seems to have been lost lately. ;-( I wish I felt safer because of it, then I'd probably be happy with the status quo. Eh, ramblings. What fun. :Denn ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:242459 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
