Same here - all guestbook entries *must* be approved before going live. 
The form bots are blocked from the database completely, so they're never 
entered anyway. But, I have the contents they placed in the form emailed 
to myself so I can look at it.

A trend I've noticed is that one bot will spam a blog somewhere, and it 
keeps a list of everywhere it's spammed and enters that list as part of 
the spam each time, rolling the old links off as it goes. This is done 
in hope that Google or one of the other search engines will follow all 
these links, and push the spam site up towards the top of the ratings. 
Google penalizes a site for even appearing in one of these list, so 
letting these bots through can hurt in more ways than one.

I've also put up a legalese "advertising policy" on one site that 
specifically names the exact amount that even attempting to place an ad 
will cost - but nobody has paid their invoice yet!! Heh...
