Funny. I started that other thread and I just had to revisit the issue on the server a moment ago when I had to reinstall CF (Sort of. Long story. Happy ending).
The first time, I was able to just add the exe using the Add button on the bottom (click it, get the dialog, nav to the file etc.). Today I tried to run it and it died again. Went back to DEP and checked the unchecked box next to IA, which had appeared there in the exception list. One or both of those things should fix you up. I'll bet you are not seeing the Add button on the bottom, yes?
