Nope, if anything Flex could lead to much more ColdFusion being used.  Flex is 
a front end, presentation level tool.  It can do very little for back end, data 
and business logic for you.

It is designed to integrate with ColdFusion very natively.  I am currently 
building a model/proposal to redo one of your flagship applications with a flex 
front end feeding of the ColdFusion CFC back end.  It took me a couple of hours 
to build that backend.  It has taken me a bit longer to get my head around the 
OOPness of the flex front end.
