Flex is going to replace CF in the same way that carbon-fiber car bodies are going to replace engines. Both have to do with cars, but the statement doesn't make any sense, right? CF is a server-side scripting language and Flex is a new toy for building front ends / GUI's. In order to use Flex, you're still going to need to use ASP, PHP, CF, Java... to do the work on the server when the user interacts with the Flex front-end. You've got to have an engine to move that sweet carbon-fiber body down the road.
