If you'd like to see a ColdFusion implementation of generating RSS feeds (both RSS version 1 and 2), download Ray Camden's BlogCFC application (http://ray.camdenfamily.com/projects/blogcfc/) and look for the generateRSS() method in the monster blog.cfc template.
