What about setting a code snippet with your JDBC settings in it?

Not a real fix, but it'll save you time at least.

Subject: MySQL 4/5

Would someone please tell Adobe to put the "modern" MySQL drivers in
CFMX by default? I mean c'mon, MySQL 4 is ancient, MySQL 5 has been out
for a while and 5.1 is now in beta.

It's just such a pain to have to type in the JDBC url and driver class
every time I add a new datasource. *grumble*

Wouldn't be so bad if you could "duplicate" a datasource.
