ah i see. i keep forgetting there's a world full of compiled code ;-) though 
flex will cure me of that i'm sure.

well moving that sort of stuff from one system to another is going to be 
painful 
no matter what (unless between clones). i guess for something utterly complex 
this is probably required but for the i18n plumbing i'm doing, it's something i 
can live w/out (at least it seems that way now).
