If you don't mind having to pay for one, Powered Calendar from cfm-powered.com 
is quite good, at least it was when I bought it a number of years ago. Very 
full-featured: multiple calendar views, event groups, user groups, public and 
private calendars, automatic reminders, repeating events, event search and 
filters, attachments, etc. Looks great too and can easily be styled as well.
