Training was defiantly a BIG part of this incident (there was only one), but 
there where also software failures that contributed.  

Where the fault for these software issues is probably not with the venders in 
this case, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be so in another incident.

And that is the problem.  There are places in our operation where we would have 
to do such extensive testing of an open source product to be sure that it had 
no volunabilies that we could not afford it.  The product may be free, but the 
time we paid somebody to test it is not.
