Mark, thanks but unfortunately, the answer to both is no.  In fact, access to 
the server is highly limited (I don't even have access to the file level 
myself) and the client swears that no one who has access has done anything 
differently.  The problem is that because I've been working on an indexing 
project, doing alot of indexing, etc., I'm getting blamed for the problem.  I 
think he thinks I did something with cfcollection (which I did not) but it 
sounds to me like an internal CF thing (like CF can't load the .jar file (I'm 
assuming a .jar file) that is the verity service (since it's not a service like 
in MX 7).

Any other thoughts anyone?  I'm desparate to get a solution here outside of 
re-installing ColdFusion.
