It's partly this reason that I like Reactor for CF. Keeps all the logic in the language, vs. req. knowledge of SQL. Basically the same, but avoids making the dev learn all the dialects... good and bad about this... as with SQL knowledge alone, you can generally jump ship and make a wad of dough... And you'd still need the SQL knowledge to be "fast" even with a ORM. Eh, guess like all things, it just depends- or doesn't matter, according to perspective. :-P ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:251170 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
