Are you referring to Flex Builder, or actual Flash 9 / Actionscript 3 apps that Flex Builder 2 produces? I've found Flex Builder 2 to be fairly slow (like any java-based GUI I've had experience with). But the flex apps themselves run quite nicely, I've never had any problems with them. They're *WAY* faster than the apps I built in Flash MX 2004.
