Hi Jerry. Unfortunately, ColdFusion MX is not supported on the 1.5 JVM. You'll need to install the 1.4 JVM from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and use that instead. While there are some people who will note that they technically got CF working on the 1.5 JVM, there are several key features of the platform that simply do not work (web services, cfdocument, etc.). Have a go with the 1.4.2 JVM and see if that sorts out your issues.
