I had a similar problem, way back when I used DW, that related to a 
third party plugin I had installed (which I think actually came from a 
DevNet CD). Once I removed the plugin and restarted the program it went 
back to functioning as poorly (Cough!Cough!) I mean just like it had 
before;)
