spawning a new process?

I thought I saw a cfx tag at one time that would let you start a new cold
fusion process in the background, but I didn't need it then, and can't
remember what it is called now.

I want to start a CFHTTP page to go do some work after a form submission,
but
would like the user to just continue on their merry way....  Is this even
possible?
