I am trying to compare the content of a file I am reading from a remote server
using <cfhttp> and the content of a file I read with <cffile> to see if they
are the same or not.

The file that is being read was previously written from a <cfhttp> read. My
goal is to see if the content from the remote file has changed since the last
time it was copied to the local server, if so copy it to the local server.

I'm having surprising difficulties with that. Even though I have just copied
the remote file, a second test says the content of the two files are NOT the
same?

Am I missing something here?

Is there another way I can do this?
