Rick, Not at all. The "from" in CFMAIL can be from any e-mail address as long as your mail server is configured to bypass SMTP authentication for Coldfusion (Or you can provide credentials in your CF Administrator to accomplish the same thing.). See my previous note on creating or modifying an SPF record so that your e-mails don't get flagged for spam.
