I think coldfusion allows beginners access to java at a level never before seen and hooks into a wealth of open source projects which no other lanaguage can. I just wrote a CF jode decompiler in under 15 minutes and the day before I found out how to delete a row within a cfquery object using its data as the reference. Cool stuff!
