There is some difficulty with using complex query names and the <cfquery...> tag. When this arises for me, I usually just copy the query from the function to a local, simple variable and use that in the loop. <cfset localQuery = product.getItems()> <cfoutput query = "localQuery"> .... This may actually work better since the original solution would conceivable call the function every iteration through the loop.
