I'm currently using F-Secure as my anti-virus and Tortoise-SVN to connect to a remote server via https
When uploading (committing) through Tortoise, my upload slows to a crawl (about 5/kbs) and halts at about 16k. If I remove the fssm.exe from the task manager (this is the real time scanning portion of f-secure) it speeds up to about 40/kbs and keeps going merrily. Turning off real time scanning from within F-Secure doesn't do it, I have to physically remove the file from running (and then the only way to get it back is to reboot the machine). I've contacted F-Secure about it and frankly they simply want me to get rid of my firewall and spyware (which won't help, I tried getting rid of them to narrow down the problem) and I'm fed up. Anyone know of a good anti-virus or 3 in one (anti-virus/firewall/antispyware) which plays well with Tortoise and uploading to remote servers?
