I have an application that has an admin piece that requires the user to log in. What I want to do is to use the Novell directory (not sure if that is the correct term, I am thinking Microsoft here) for the login. Basically, I want to grab the user's Id that is currently logged into the system, and then compare it to a database of admins that I will create. If the user is in the table, then I let them in, otherwise I let them know they are not authorized. So how do I go about doing this? Does Novell use an LDAP directory like Microsoft?
