OK, I may not need to connect to the LDAP server since I only need to get the account that is logged into the workstation. So what is involved in getting the users account information from the PC? I figure once I get that I can compare it to the database I have and go from there. I will spend the weekend looking it up on Google but if someone has already done this before, I would appreciate the assistance.

However, getting the login ID from the PC and passing it to your CF app will be difficult. If you just want to use the same authentication in your own login form it's a breeze.
